Prof. Jackie Kay, CBE
Jackie Kay is a Scottish poet, playwright, and novelist, and is currently the Scottish Poet Laureate. She is known for her works Other Lovers, Trumpet and Red Dust Road, among many other books. Kay has won many awards, including an MBE, the Guardian Fiction Prize, the Scottish Book of the Year Award, and the CLPE Poetry Award. She’ll be reading & in conversation with Liz Quirke at 6.30pm, 8th March, in the Dora Allman room in The Hub, UCC.
