Brief: To make a 10 – 15 min Dance or Theatre performance / engagement in collaboration with the Glen River in Glen River Park, Cork City to be presented as part of Gleann a’ Phúca’s celebration of World Rivers Day on Sun 22nd Sept 2024. This can involve work with local communities of interest or be a solo performance. We are interested to support work which wonders into how connection with an urban park and its river might shift sensibilities of wellbeing, care, agency and play in a positive way and in a context of climate emergency / anxiety. We will also facilitate engagement with UCC Scientists working on waterways research.

The fee is €3000 plus a €500 materials budget. The fee is costed at 20 days of engagement including the final performance on Sun 22nd Sept.

Please submit a 300 word proposal & a bio / CV to by Tue 11th June at midnight.
