UCC Creative is an initiative to develop and advocate for creative practice at UCC in lively collaboration with local, national and international communities, festivals and creative / cultural industries.
UCC Creative Events include public art commissions, workshops, showcases and residencies.
UCC Creative Captial Build is part of UCC’s Strategic Plan and enacts the centrality of creativity as a core value of the university. This building is planned as a beacon for Artistic Practice, Research and Transdisciplinarity within Ireland and internationally.
UCC hosts six artist residencies, a classical quartet foundation and a public concert series. This dynamic outward facing engagement with artists across multiple disciplines involves collaboration with the Arts Council as well as local / national arts organisations / public bodies.
UCC is also home to the Glucksman Gallery, the Jennings Gallery in the College of Medicine and Health and the Granary Theatre.
